Summerlin® and Bridgeland® Rank Among Top 15 Best-Selling Master Planned Communities Nationwide
Strong home sales underscore continued demand for amenity-rich, thoughtfully planned communities in two of the nation’s fastest-growing regions
THE WOODLANDS, TX (January 8, 2026) – Summerlin® and Bridgeland®, two award-winning communities in the Howard Hughes Communities portfolio, have been ranked among the nation’s top 15 best-selling master planned communities (MPCs) for 2025, according to the year-end report released by national real estate consulting firm RCLCO. Summerlin, located in Las Vegas, ranked #10 nationally with 962 home sales, while Bridgeland, in the Greater Houston area, ranked #11 with 812 home sales. The rankings underscore the continued strength of well-executed master planned communities in two of the country’s fastest-growing regions.

Summerlin continues to rank among Nevada’s top-selling communities, with 962 new homes sold in 2025.
Now entering its 36th year of development, Summerlin marked another year of sustained residential, commercial, and community growth, extending a decades-long trajectory defined by disciplined planning and long-term value creation.
Within the residential sector, 2025 saw the opening of 10 new neighborhoods offering dozens of new floorplans, alongside the close-out of six neighborhoods, reflecting both strong demand and healthy absorption. New neighborhoods expanded housing options across multiple villages and districts, including Raven Crest by Toll Brothers, Mockingbird and Sandpiper by Lennar in Kestrel and Kestrel Commons; and Ashland by Taylor Morrison, SHAWOOD at Arcadia, Glenrock by Toll Brothers, Caldwell Park by KB Home, Carlisle by Tri Pointe Homes, Primrose Park by Richmond American Homes, and Brantley by Pulte Homes in Grand Park village.
The community also debuted Astra, a custom homesite enclave set against the La Madre Peaks. Located at one of the highest elevations in the Las Vegas Valley, Astra will ultimately feature 167 expansive custom homesites across 171 acres, offering a rare connection to the surrounding desert landscape.
Summerlin’s commitment to parks, open space, and outdoor connectivity continued in 2025 with the opening of several new amenities, including the final phase of Redpoint Arroyo; Kestrel Creek Arroyo; The Hub in Kestrel Commons; Terrace Park; and the first phase of Grand Park, Council Park, in Grand Park village.

BRIDGELAND®
Bridgeland sold 812 homes in 2025, ranking as the #3 best-selling master planned community in Texas and #11 nationally, reflecting sustained demand for diverse residential offerings in Northwest Houston.
Now in its 20th year of development, Bridgeland continues to expand housing options while maintaining a deliberate, thoughtfully paced growth strategy. In 2025, the community opened three new schools, introduced two new residential product lines, and added more than 40 acres of parks and recreational amenities, further reinforcing its focus on livability, connectivity, and long-term community building.
Complementing this residential momentum, Bridgeland Central®, the community’s 925-acre mixed-use district, delivered a year of significant commercial progress. Nearly 60,000 square feet of new walkable office and retail space opened in 2025, introducing new amenities and services to the Northwest Houston region. One Bridgeland Green, Greater Houston’s first Class A mass timber office building, opened in December and now serves as the corporate headquarters for CrossCover Insurance. Additional retail and restaurant openings, including Houston favorite Jonathan’s the rub, further enhanced daily convenience for residents and employees. Bridgeland also broke ground on its first build-to-suit medical office building for Memorial Hermann, scheduled to open in summer 2026.
