Mahana Ward Village Generates Strong Early Demand Ahead of Gallery Opening

Public sales gallery officially opens August 8 following encouraging initial buyer response

HONOLULU (Aug. 3, 2026) – Ward Village®, an award-winning 60-acre master planned community in the heart of Honolulu, announces early sales momentum for Mahana Ward Village ahead of opening its gallery Saturday, August 8. The initial response is particularly meaningful in a highly selective residential market and reflects continued buyer confidence in Ward Village, along with the distinctive appeal of Mahana’s park-front location, architecture and thoughtfully designed residences and amenities.

Mahana will introduce 451 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences directly across from the newly completed 3.5-acre Victoria Ward Park. The project will also include  approximately 13,600 square feet of ground-floor commercial space fronting the new Halekauwila Extension, an outdoor transit plaza at the corner of Ward Avenue, and 350 linear feet of street-level retail, dining, and outdoor seating frontage, further enhancing the pedestrian experience and neighborhood connectivity.

Designed by architect Solomon Cordwell Buenz, interior designer Tihany Design, and VITA Planning & Landscape Architecture, Mahana takes its name from the Hawaiian word for warmth, a quality reflected in its tactile materials, timeless design, and seamless connection between indoors and outdoors. Amenities include an Owners lounge, a fitness center, dining suites, a spa, and a sports lounge. Two outdoor decks offer a large resort pool, a dedicated fitness pool, two hot tubs, a cold plunge, BBQ cabanas, and dining areas overlooking Victoria Ward Park, Kewalo Basin, and the surrounding ocean and mountain views.

Beyond expanding housing opportunities, Mahana Ward Village is projected to contribute more than $670 million in economic impact, $225 million in workers’ earnings, and $40 million in state tax revenue. Construction is expected to sustain a peak of nearly 900 jobs annually over the project’s build period, with an estimated $121 million in real property tax revenue generated over 30 years.
